Junior Facilities CAD & Data Assistant

Location: New Jersey / NYC Metro Area (On-site)

Robotech IWMS Solutions is seeking a Junior Facilities CAD & Data Assistant to support CAD drawings, data updates, and reporting within a corporate office environment.

This junior-level position focuses on hands-on support tasks including CAD updates, surveys, data entry, reports, and file organization. Training and guidance will be provided. Please note, this is not an architectural design role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update AutoCAD floor plans based on field information and direction
  • Assist with on-site space and asset surveys in the NYC Metro area
  • Enter and update data in spreadsheets and systems
  • Organize and maintain CAD files and documentation
  • Upload and track drawing files in document systems
  • Prepare Excel reports (weekly/monthly)
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Support project teams with data and documentation tasks

 Basic Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience or similar background
  • Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Comfortable working with data, files, and documentation
  • Willing to work on-site and perform field surveys
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Good communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to facilities, office environments, or space planning
  • Experience with CAD drawings, data tracking, and reporting
  • Familiarity with computer applications and AI tools

About the Role

This position offers an opportunity to build experience in facilities and space management while working with an experienced team in a professional office environment. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
