ARCHIBUS/FM® V.17 Core Functionality

FM Web Central Version 17 offers many new enhancements such as Autodesk Revit Overlay, ESRI integration, enhanced view analysis, personalized dashboards, Document Management System, Microsoft IIS integration and more. Additional modules were added to Web Central 17 such as Service Desk, On Demand Work and Room Reservations. The Windows version of ARCHIBUS V.17 is now compatible with Autodesk’s AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architectural all the way to Version 2008.

Personalized Dashboards:
Version 17 includes features that let you create personalized dashboards, granting you directed access to the information you need to accomplish your specific facilities and infrastructure management goals. Include charts, graphs, and maps according to your personal preferences. You can also create dashboards for casual users or executives, encouraging self-service.
Dashboards organize tasks, record completeness, and summarize mission performance. They focus staffers’ attention on the information and forms they need to perform their jobs while aligning their day-to-day efforts with overall organizational goals.
 


Workflow Rules
FM Web Central V.17 includes pre-defined workflow rules, which are used in activities such as Move Management and Project Management. These rules speed communication between work groups, reduce administrative errors, eliminate follow-up phone calls and e-mails, document process and execution, and ensure consistency among your organization’s various departments and sites. They can be modified to accelerate your own processes and enforce your organization’s own procedures and business rules.
Use the diagram and dialog interface to enable or disable notification rules or change routing criteria.
 



Document Management:
Built-in document management features let you manage all facilities and infrastructure related files—including leases, work orders, purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and more—as natural extensions of your tasks. The documents are incorporated into workflow processes, e-mail notifications, and status tracking, eliminating the need for a separate document management package.
Enrich your help desk, work order, property transaction, and project management workflows by incorporating drawings, text documents, Word files, questionnaires, spreadsheets and more. Users gain one-click access to documents stored in a single, centralized repository.
 

Enhanced View Analysis:
The enhanced View Analysis feature enables quick access to secure, multi-dimensional data. It lets you analyze data by any of the categories you’ve established, such as by organization, space, or account hierarchies; by time-based criteria; or by corporate standards. Drill-down capabilities make it easy to focus on the data you need to perform your job. For example, one click can pull up a dashboard of pending operations issues, sorted by urgency. A second click will offer details, and a third click will let you approve a work request and set the process in action.

 
View analysis automatically summarizes your data by intelligent categories. Drill-downs let you use your analysis itself as a menu--clicking on any number or chart entry displays the supporting detail.
 

Reporting to PDF:
In the new FM Web Central V.17, you can generate PDF versions of ARCHIBUS/FM data in a separate browser window with a single click. The data contained in the PDF file complies with any security restrictions you may have placed on it, ensuring that the easy-to-share file contains only the data that is relevant to a user’s needs.

Microsoft IIS and Active Directory Integration
FM Web Central V.17 includes single sign-on features that enable seamless integration with Microsoft Internet Information Server and Active Directory data to provide seamless authentication and speed deployment.
