CAD Trainer/Application-Engineer

Robotech, an Autodesk Value-added Reseller in Hoboken, NJ, is seeking a full-time CAD Trainer/Application-Engineer with strong Building Design and Civil Engineering expertise, to join our team in Hoboken, NJ, for training and supporting our clients with Autodesk’s CAD applications.

Responsibilities:

• Training-coaching Robotech’s customers with Autodesk design software
• Providing technical support to customers on-site and via remote
• Conducting product demonstrations to A/E firms and professionals
• Developing company’s expertise for Autodesk’s Building Design applications: AutoCAD, MEP and Revit applications.

Qualifications:
The candidate must be a self-motivated team player with strong CAD knowledge and excellent communication skills. The following qualifications are desirable:

• Excellent AutoCAD knowledge and minimum 3 years experience
• Capability and experience in training/coaching users with Autodesk applications
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Architecture ADT, Revit, ABS, MEP, Civil 3D or equivalent applications
• Work experience in Building Engineering, Architectural Design, Civil environments
• Capability for self-learning software and computer technology
• Degree in Building Technology, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience
• AutoCAD programming capability; AutoLisp and Visual Basic is a plus

Facility Coordinator Assistant

Description:
This position will assist the facility management coordinator with employee moves in the corporate facilities department of a large financial company in Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities:
Use facility management database computer program to track employee moves and rooms information. Conduct surveys in the company’s buildings to track occupied and vacant seats. Use computer program for data entry and reporting.

Skills Required:
To be qualified for this position, you must be able to process data with a high degree of accuracy. You must be a proficient and organized computer user with Outlook, Word and Excel work experience in corporate office environment. You will communicate frequently with office personnel and facility staff in person, by email and phone, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills. You will need strong organizational and time management skills, coordinating your work with that of other administrative support personnel. Understanding architectural floor-plan drawings is a plus. Company will provide training on the facility management database program.

This is a temporary to permanent position with benefits opportunity; the temp portion will last three months, Full Time at $15/hour.

• Space planning and basic design (test fits) experience in corporate facility
